Ice Ready Rooftop Units

Ice-Ready™ Rooftop units (RTUs) are the perfect plug-and-play solution for hybrid cooling opportunities in new construction, renovation and replacement applications. It is designed and tested for optimal performance in operation with Ice Bear Hybrid Air Conditioning systems.

Ice-Ready Rooftop units feature a factory-installed dedicated LiquidDX® evaporator coil from Ice Energy and a built-in Ice-Coil connection for seamless performance and easy connection with the Ice Bear system. It was also available for select rooftop units from leading HVAC manufacturers in 4-20 ton capacities. These units have been tested for air flow and cooling performance in operation as a hybrid system.

Separate Ice-Coil kits are also available for a range of rooftop units to easily retrofit existing systems for operation with Ice Bear air conditioners.
